We haven't seen many deer on the property this summer, but last night at dusk a larger buck and twin yearlings came into the front yard. It was too dark for pictures, but you can get an idea of the beautiful rack on the larger one.
Quackers had already gone to bed. There was a doe here the other day and she was very curious about the goose.
He wasn't alarmed, just kept on guarding the driveway.

Not many people have a guard goose. Feel blessed.
Those are great night shots. We are overrun with deer here. So much building on the open spaces. People have to put chicken wire around their expensive landscaping in some neighborhoods.
And here I thought you were calling me and just spelled dear wrong!! Okay, okay, I'm into corn today!!!
Wow! That buck had a beautiful rack. I hope no hunters spy him.
Laura, I sent you a pm and ask if you remember the post with humming birds eating on a lady's hand. I can't find it now. I sure would like to copy the pictures for a friend that would love them.
