At the Comic Book Convention

The Comic Book Convention has returned to Las Vegas this year.

The last one was eight years ago, and it was a disaster because they didn't advertise locally, just depended on tourists to find it.

It's better organized this year with some celebrities from TV shows, comic artists, and a game room where you can play cards or board games.

And collector comic books for sale.

I had a big stack of those bubblegum comics that I had ironed flat. Would love to see them today, just for the memory of collecting them.

My antique club did a lesson on old comics and they are incredibly
valuable if the desired ones survived...some in the five to eight thousand
dollar range.

I wonder what my old comic book collection from the early Fifties would be worth today, the ones my mother tossed in the trash after I left for college... (along with my baseball cards, sob)
