Chitty Cat

This is our part-time cat Chitty in Las Vegas. She is thrilled that Mr. Troutbend is back home to keep her company.

Chitty's markings are very similar to Eloise's.

These are Eloise's toys being played with. That grubby-looking white thing is the toe of an old sock with catnip sewn inside.

Oops! I think of him as a her, but you're right, he is a boy. His tummy is the softest ever, and I am looking forward to rubbing it when I get there.

There are some things about Chitty that we don't know, for example does he have a real family that raised him from a kitten. He is in good shape for a feral cat, so we think he has a home to go to. And then when we think about loading him in our car and driving 13 hours across country, we feel like we just don't know him well enough to get so up close and personal.

Catnip????

have only cared about one cat all my life TAGGLES was his name , he came into the family when he was found as a kitten with his eyes just opened , my first wife bless her raised him using an eye dropper at first , he survived and was the best mouser i ever knew , certainly earned his keep

We also have a pot of cat grass for him - had to set it out of the way because he liked it too much. I don't know what kind of grass it is - just looks like coarse lawn grass.
