This wedding here was held last Labor Day, not far from my house, and I was sort of invited to it. It was a verbal invitation, but nobody told me the address or the time, so I figured they didn't really mean it. And then later it got back to me that the mother of the groom was surprised I didn't show up. She probably thinks the religious ones (who weren't invited) scared me off. But I wasn't going to go stand at a crossroads in Granby, Colorado in case someone I recognized drove by so I could follow them to the venue.
Finding the photos on the bride's website was as good as going to the wedding.

Mother of the groom, Father of the groom (no longer married to each other), bride/groom, bride's parents.

Check out the bridesmaid dresses. Someone must have dyed the fabric and made the dresses, I don't think you could buy something so ugly.

This is the silliest looking cake. Another photo showed a big chocolate cake from Walmart sitting next to it, so they obviously decided this white thing was not going to feed everyone and someone had to rush out and get the extra.
The bride and groom dress up and participate in medieval reenactments, which is his excuse for keeping the ugly stringy pony tail.

I don't see either one of them in this group - they must have been taking the pictures.

This is the bride at the re-enactment. Her costume is pretty boring, but she at some point lost 200 pounds, so probably feels secure in it.

She's a lovely bride. No comment on him, I just wish he'd get a haircut.
The groom's aunt. She looks a little tipsy, but I think she's just being her normal oddball self.

Good heavens! What's with the silly parasol?

Who's this guy?

Why hire a "chef" when the family has to do all the work?

This explains a lot.

See what I mean?

If this is supposed to be of the cake(s), it's not centered very well.

And then things just got rowdy.

The chef again.
