That warms my heart that you think of the fish as your fish. You rock.

It's catch and release so there's a hope he'll have a good long life. I think of these fish as my fish and worry about whether they are getting enough bugs for them.

One of the things that gets me going in the morning is the hope that I'll see some fish in the river that day. The bottom is all fuzzy from low winter flows, usually the rocks are all cleaned off.

It took several years for me to be able to see the fish in the river. This one is pretty obvious, most of the time all you see is a them from the top, facing into the current waiting for a bug to come by.

One time one of the renters claimed they had such a hard time getting one of our fish off the hook they had to keep it (state law says this is catch and release water). It was in the kitchen sink and they offered it to me. I told them I'd just as soon gut and eat my cat. But that didn't stop them from eating it.
