I don't know what the deal is with that green along the east coast. This map is from August 25, 2011, before the big storm.

Looks like Oklahoma City is getting some smoke, but you probably can't tell it from normal humidity haze with all the heat.

It was 117 in Phoenix yesterday, and they had a sand storm. Welcome to the Sahara. Buy a camel and live in a tent.

This is a message to pilots from Air Traffic Control saying that the airports in the New York City area are closed due to an earthquake - yes, an earthquake. I think it's neat that the east coast got to experience this.
