Souvenir of Disneyland

Going through my photos of 2011 donations to charity, I came across this tee shirt from 1983 - Grand Opening of Fantasy Land at Disneyland in California. That must have been a lot of fun.

This is at Epcot Center (Orlando) in 2000. It was magical to see the giant dome enhanced like that.

Here is Mr. Traveltales at the Orlando park in 2008:

By the way, the title of this post just reminded me of the Procol Harem song: "Souvenir of London." (It's about bringing home a social disease.)

My dil works for Disney. She gets to go to Disneyworld almost every year for meetings. My son gets to go too, for a day or so after the meeting part is over.

That'd be so much fun. There are so many creative people working at that company, it must be a very interesting place to work.

Not the kind of souvenir I would want to bring home from a trip to London!

I think it's on the back of the album: a drawing of a box with a nasty looking liquid oozing from it.

Ron's parents are Disney timeshare holders so we do a lot of Disney stuff...

I'll bet you do. We used to go down there every year, and really enjoyed visiting the parks. But since we moved to Las Vegas, it seems like we're already there.

What it costs to get in to Disneyworld/land today you won't see me in either even if I win the $200MIL powerball tomorrow night!!!

I don't know how families with children can afford it. Oh wait. They probably just incur lots of credit card debt they'll never pay off.
