There are some things I've never done, and never will do. I call it my reverse bucket list. Today I added flying in Russia.
One of the stories goes like this: Sitting on the tarmac in Moscow, the plane is delayed for mechanical reasons. A man comes in carrying a rather large part and a handful of rubles. He announces that because this is one of the baby Flots, and the airport is owned by Aeroflot, the only way to get the part to be installed on the plane is for the captain to pay for it. He refused, so they are taking up a collection from the passengers. Enough money was collected, and they were eventually able to take off.

"This is a really great documentary, showing what happened to the mighty Soviet Aeroflot after 1991. It had broken into 400 smaller airlines, each with little money and struggles. Indeed, all of Russia was plunged into chaos after the USSR collapsed. This documentary has a fascinating first hand account and story from pilots, passengers, flight attendants and airport staff."
