Mike (the late much-missed Fredo's husband) tells me that people in Vermont are tired of the crowds coming into the state to view the fall leaves, and are trying to figure out how to cut down on the numbers by turning them away. New Hampshire (where he lives) is not concerned about the crowds, welcomes the tourist dollars.
Colorado's 2023 fall leaf season is just getting started, and although we don't have the range of color/wide distribution of back east, we still have crowds of people headed for the mountains this weekend to catch a glimpse. The state's dept of transportation predicts 3000 cars per hour on a certain part of Interstate 70 this coming Sunday.
