Our local schools had one of those false alarm bomb threats the other day. Parents picking up their children had to stand in line out in the cold wind for hours because each had to be searched and cleared, in groups of 5 at a time.


Last night I dreamt that I went into a grade school, and everyone there had been issued day-glo orange hoodies as a means of identification or maybe it was some sort of protection. There were coat racks in the halls where the kids could get theirs. The orange-clad cleaning ladies were pushing carts, and that shade of orange is not a slimming color, so as they came closer, they looked larger and larger.

The overall glow was dazzling.

I chatted with someone about the effort involved in gearing everyone up, and they were proud of the accomplishment. The reason for it, or what it was supposed to accomplish was not stated, and I seemed to understand it at the time, but now that I'm awake, I don't know.

I don't believe that dreams are predictive, consider them to be symbolic.

The online Dream Dictionary says:
"Colors in dreams represent energy, emotions, and vibes. First consider what that single color in your dream means to you and your own personal associations and relationship with that color. In general, pale pastel colors indicate weakness or subtlety. Dark colors represent passion and intensity. Bright colors mean awareness. "

To me, that bright orange color means being ready for danger.

But the Dictionary's definition of the color orange is:

"Orange denotes hope, friendliness, courtesy, generosity, liveliness, sociability, and an out-going nature. It also represents a stimulation of the senses. You feel alive! You may want to expand your horizons and look into new interests."

So there's that, and maybe that ties in with the location being a school, and I'm ready to learn something new.
