Here is a video journey - business class from San Francisco to Germany by way of Chicago, filmed back in 2010. It's mostly about the food, but when you think about it, sitting in an airplane all those hours, the food is pretty important.

What a nice video. I felt like my ears were popping when the plane left CGO. I was looking for my house. The planes from O'Hare fly over a lot.

Oh! I wish it'd popped into view! Last week when I flew here from Las Vegas I got a good look at my house when the plane turned right instead of left on take off. It was right there off the end of the wing.

When I find out I have only a couple months to live I'm going to do whatever it takes to buy a first-class roundtrip ticket to some far off destination.

The longest plane trip I ever took was Memphis to Australia--by the same token I haven't been on a plane since 1985!

All the changes just over the last 10 years! I've read novels and seen movies that although they obviously wanted to be set in present time, had to go back to the 80's for the setting because the plot would never work with the airport security of today.
