99 Cent Flat Screen TV - Too Late to Get Ours

HENDERSON, NV (FOX5) -
Discount store chain 99-Cent Only Store is set to cut the ribbon Thursday on store front No. 299 in Henderson.

As with previous store openings, the first nine customers through the door will be able to purchase a 22-inch flat screen LCD television for 99 cents.

The ribbon cutting will take place on the corner of Boulder Highway and Major Avenue at 7:45 a.m. with store doors opening at 8 a.m.

The store says it prides itself on offering employment opportunities and affordable products to people in the area.

Yes, they do sell gas there! There is one gas pipeline coming into Las Vegas from California, bringing both automotive and aviation fuel (at different times). It is all the same, and then when the brand name oil companies get their share, they put in their special additives and charge more per gallon.

Mr. YouKnow was grumbling about what a silly idea to offer only 9 TVs, acted like he felt personally cheated, as if he'd have bought set number 10 if it didn't involve waiting in line. I thought it was a good way to get some free publicity for the opening of a new store location.

I think they are nothing short of miraculous, especially the ones that sell produce. It's not always the prettiest, but just as nutritious.
