Some essential oils can help with sleep. If you go onto Oil_Testimonials.com and sign up (free), you can do a basic search for "sleeplessness" and get personal stories of oils that have helped people. Clove is one - Peace and Calming (a blend) is another. These can be bought on Amazon. The blends are more expensive and Young Living (which sponsors the testimonial site) is the most expensive of all. I don't buy from them because of this. I had several night time problems -- sciatica, sinus attacks, panic that would wake me several times. I solved these issues with various remedies and now I just get up once, around 4:30 to go to the bathroom and I go right back to sleep. But the oils might help you.

It seems everything you are having done is having glitches. Sorry you have to miss your party. Tell the twins they don't have the luxury of foisting work off on Grandma because she has way more on her plate than they do. (Tough love.) I always take a book along whenever I have any service appointment. It saves my sanity.

We are going to a friend's for Thanksgiving, but Ed wants a turkey all his own, so we are cooking one over the weekend. I hate prepared side dishes from the market so I will play with Stove Top stuffing, adding a few things, and mash potatoes and sweet potatoes. I only put a little bit of brown sugar in the sw. potatoes. That's enough. I'm glad you got your land mess cleared. It's nice when things work out.
I was alone on Thanksgiving after Jay died. It wasn't the day so much as it was not having him there. I got a prepared meal from a nearby restaurant. Food helps.

I have am using filtered water for kitty that is filtered through the refrigerator door. This is not enough?
Why must you measure anything? The process sounds like something I would never, ever do, for any reason. (Like not cooking anything with more than 4 steps.) I remember low temps in NY, where, if you walked north on a wide avenue such as Broadway, your face would crack from the wind. Hugs to Ms. Eloise, elitist kitty. When Ed and I traveled to Virginia with Brunswick, he was super cool about all of it. Used his kitty pan in the back while we were traveling. Sat on the arm rest or in my lap and slept, or looked out the window. What a kitty.
