Alive Alive Oh!

Nope, I am alive and kicking. I'm currently starting a new eating regimen (I like that better than dieting). I have plantar fascitis in my foot and because of this I had to give up my 5 mile walks. I really miss it. I have talked with my podiatrist and this is a chronic condition. I may be a candidate for the surgery. we'll see. I've been busy busy busy. Home improvement, working, just staying really busy and doing some cleaning I just don't have time for during the school year. Right now I'm anticipating going back to school...Wish I could write the great American Novel and make a million dollars so I wouldn't have to do so, but it's okay. At least as a teacher I get to know some great kids. So today, I have some business to do then I'm actually going to float around in my pool! Ahhhhhh summer! I miss you guys. At the other website I just stop by briefly and put in a line or two. It's sort of quick and painless like small conversations. Here it is longer. Oh well, talk to you soon.
This is on the way to Sedona where I visited this summer in Arizona. These two mountains are overlooking the Verde Valley. it is gorgeous country.

Dropping by (we've lost so many posters, and I figured you were one of them). Love Sedona area. Have a great school year. Glad I'm retired!

I really enjoy all of the red rocks along the road driving down into the valley from the north...

Thanks for the update. As you say, the diversity of our landscapes in this country is a wondrous thing.
