Bet you thought this was gonna be something salacious, LOL!
No, I'm talking about my cousin Andy the plumber. He came last week and got up on the roof and used a gallon of tar to seal the flashing around the fireplace. It had been leaking like a waterfall down the back of the chimney when it rained and I hadn't noticed it until I went out one day and noticed it--there's no telling how long that had been going on.

He was supposed to come at various specified dates to fix my rockin' and rollin' toilet and never showed up. I told him the screws holding the toilet on the concrete slab were rusted out, and when you lean over to wipe, the whole thing would shake and move. As I've previously told y'all, every single person who visits me has a big butt and all those big kiesters were forbidden to use the facilities until I got them fixed.

Anyway, yesterday Andy was supposed to come AGAIN and didn't show. I had even made a pot of chicken and dumplings. So after an irritated phone call from me, he came this morning and it was more complicated than I thought. He had to take the toilet off its foundations and start from scratch, with seals and screws and grout stuff. He said he'd come tomorrow and do the other one. Oh sure.
But at least for now the main toilet has been screwed down and the fireplace leak tarred.
