Today President Obama was in Mississippi, but our Republican so called governor Haley Barbour, a total d*ckhead has so far refused to meet with the President because he's a DEMOCRAT! (And maybe because the President is black, too.) Stereotypical Mississippi politician, fat, ruddy faced, "You In A Heap "O Trouble Boy" that's bad enough to see in your rear view mirror, but in the governor's office is embarrassing.

It doesn't matter that this state is hurting and the oil mess will forever change the Mississippi Coast and the state in toto--no, Barbour, the self centered tobacco lobbyist is looking out for his own interests, and a life in--oh say maybe-- the oil industry when he's out of office at the end of his current term, ain't gonna ruffle any feathers. And he is quoted as saying the most ridiculous thing I've heard yet: That tar balls occur naturally in the Gulf! Uh, gov. that is so far out in la-la land I am woried about you. You don't deserve another Gulf shrimp or oyster the rest of your life. (Sadly no one else will get to enjoy one either the way it's going.)

Forget what the people of Mississippi need, which is working with the President, his selfishness and bull-headedness is totally self serving. How and why does Mississippi keep electing such people? I wish I could apologize to Obama for Barbour's behavior and disrespect.
I do hope Alabama governor, Republican Bob Riley has more common sense and manners to at least TALK to our President.
