I recycle newspapers by putting a layer on the kitchen counters before I start cooking. Then when it's time for cleanup, you just roll up the papers and into the trash--they really do catch a lot of cooking detritus. So this morning I laid out some papers and the contents caught my eye.
I hadn't read the Letters To Santa in December's paper--there was about four pages of them written by kindergartner's--but when I read one of them, I had to stop and read them all--they were so cute, so precious.
Here's some: Santa, I want a venom suit and a Hulk movie and this Superman stuff that will make me stick to the wall. Houston
Santa, I wanted a new baby doll and some Barbies too. I want you to make it snow too. If it's cold be careful going to houses. Don't get sick before Christmas. Edee
Santa, I want dolls and baby clothes. Tell all your reindeer I said Hi. And Mrs. Claus too. I will definitely be sure to leave some kiffles out with some milk for you. I hope you love kiffles. Amber
Some of the kids asked for real babies, and some asked for "my family to be happy." But one asked for nothing, and only said this to say: Santa, you are wonderful and all the kids love you. Makaila
