From the local paper: "ARE THE GOOD OLD DAYS EXTINCT?"
Supposedly, 25 things are going to become extinct in America, including the US Postal Service, the VCR, movie rental stores, land lines, answering machines, cameras that use film, personal checks, and dial up Internet.
Well, I'm a dinosaur about to become extinct too I suppose, because a lot of these things are still relevant to me where I live in the backwoods of south Mississippi. I mean, a land line is imperative during hurricane season. I have dial up because I can't get anything else here, and personal checks--that's me. But loss of the postal service? Say it ain't so!
