Yes, you did grow up in a lovely time... I think my problem was that I grew up way too over-protected! My mother even answered the phone for me if I thought it was someone I didn't want to talk to... Did I read a blog on proper English somewhere?

Bill, I think we are all in a state of confusion. Life is getting so complicated. But, do hold on to your beliefs... You have a wonderful heart and you'll really be fine. BTW, do keep writing. It does help to get your feelings out.
So, you've been writing a LOT! Hard to stop, isn't it? I haven't seen any of the TV shows that have been popular in the last few years either. But, I did see House. There are a few episodes on hulu.com. I used to think you had to join to watch, but you don't. So most of the time I just go to look at a movie or TV episode... at MY leisure! 
LAURIE!!! I'm so very HAPPY to see you back here! What a terrible thing to have kidney stones! My husband had them once and the doctor said that it was the most painful condition there was! Keep drinking the water and I think the doc said to have some acidic things like lemons... so my husband had a lot of lemonade! There's a new machine that pulverizes them, too. Hope you get rid of them soon! Again, I am SO glad you're here!!!!
