For Those Who Remember Beedith:

Beedith stopped posting when she was diagnosed with Scleraderma. She lived in Santa Clara, California for a few years. Them moved to a suburb of Tucson, Arizona. She converted to Judaism, and was loved by many people. She entered Hospice care, and lived two more weeks, sipping water, medicated for pain. She wanted to live to the end of Yom Kippur. Yom Kippur ended at sundown. Edith died a bit after midnight, September 24, 2015. She said it was â€œGood News Dayâ€ because she wouldn't hurt any more.I carry her heart with me. I carry it in my heart.

Beedith and I were close friends, starting in 1967. I miss her, but knowing how much she suffered with Scleroderma, I would not call her back. She was a kindhearted soul, flying free in the Universe, free from pain. Thanks, traveltales, for remembering her with me. Did I mention that she was a woman whose outer beauty reflected her soul?
