My oldest daughter is a certified medical assistant at a hospital and she works the afternoon night shifts every weekend. She says it's quiet and easier at night. She works from 3:30pm to 7:00am. I couldn't do it.
That's fabulous. I agree, kids need an energy or creative outlet. Thank Goodness for sports and music here at my house.
Too funny. I sometimes mistake people with bluetooth's that they are talking to me. I stop and listen and then embarrassingly realize that they are NOT talking to me. Oh well...
Oh my, the bug in the hair. I wouldn't sleep for days. You just lie there imagining every little movement is a bug or spider... Ugggg.... hate that.
Good for you. Your persistence will pay off 10 fold.
I've been there. One day at a time. Getting out of debt is really important, especially in these unsure economic times. I know it's draining some days, but just take one day at a time. Be productive each day and you'll get there. I promise.
I'd like to check out the book. Sounds good.
Well, maybe forgetting the dentist was just a physiological subconscious effort to do something more fun?
It's a great idea, though I still don't get why anyone would leave their pets (or children) in a car at all when there is even the slightest potential for danger.
I haven't had a good watermelon in awhile. I'll have to try again cuz your sound yummy.
The new boyfriend sounds great. I like boys who are close and devoted to their families... that's a good sign.
Kelli, As long as you are tight with your daughter and can talk, she'll be able to handle the on/off again friendships. Sadly, it's a part of growing up and she'll have the skills to weed out the people that don't bring joy to her life. You are a great Mom and your kids are so lucky to have you.
You sound upbeat and happy.
It sounds like the visit with your family is just what you've been needing.
Yes, that is it isn't it? Being around God's creations, people, nature... giving ourselves, living in the moment. That is when I feel closest to God.
