I'm ready for fall now. The flowers are getting leggy. We're tired of mowing and watering the lawn/garden. Bring on the cooler weather.
I think we've all felt uncomfortable about things in our lives. Laurie said it best, Love yourself and you truly won't need of care of how others view you.
It will make life so much easier if your kids can befriend G. It sounds as if you guys are moving things along nicely. My kids adore their step Dad and I really think it came down to my husband allowing me to be the soul disciplinarian and he was back-up Dad. It worked to our advantage.
Awwww.... sorry Kelli. It is a shame that people will do that. I believe in Karma and that what comes around goes around. Recently I was buying 16 placemats and the cashier only charged me for 14, so I told him that he undercharged me and then he added on 3 more placemats instead of the two and I had to tell him to take one off.... Geeesh! But it was a great opportunity to teach my daughter to be honest.

Wow, I haven't worn in watch in about 10 years. My husband and I both gave each other watches as wedding gifts, but neither of us wears one. My husband wears his "watch" on his belt in the form of a cell phone
How fun. Have a great time with the family. You're probably spot on about the new wife for cuz, but hopefully won't have to be spouting "I told you so's" anytime (real) soon
