Benicio Del Toro delivers a searing, emotional performance as Ernesto "Che" Guevara, an asthmatic Argentine doctor who became one of Latin America's most legendary revolutionary leaders in the 1950s. Director Steven Soderbergh recounts the events of the Cuban revolution, in which Guevara, Fidel Castro (Demià n Bichir), Tamara Bunke (Franka Potente) and other revolutionaries worked to overthrow the dictatorship of Fulgencio Batista.
Rated R 4 1/2 hours 2008
2.25 stars (Dale-2, David-2.5). Hard to follow as it bounced all over the place, captions zoomed by to quickly to study faces. If you do not know the history well, then do not bother watching the movie. I assume you would be lost quickly becuase there is no explanation of any of the characters motives, the background, what lead up to the revolution, why Che was in disguise in the beginning of part two etc.
