Both informative and funny. A friend used to bring info like this to the dinner table, saying his source was a series of books called Imponderables. He would provide witty commentaries along w/his etymological findings.
I liked your opening sentence. You . . . thinking of us.
Anything you give a thumb's up to, I'll look into!
LOVE him. Have all his CDs.
Thx for posting this Fredo. I loved her. I have only one book of hers (The Lord is My Shepherd). My mother draws and paints like her. 92 - wow!
He was so well-liked and very prepared for his shows. Insiders say that his work ethic was a mix of the kind of character (integrity) you don't find today. He was the only reason I'd watch Meet the Press.
Wow - as JD suggested, ck out the Antiques Roadshow resources to see whether you have some kind of treasure on your hands! Beautiful work.
In a few words. Yes.
Looks slick. Less is more.
Read the Dance Trick. Nicely written. Sounds like your story.
CHEERS! I'm there w/you darlin' - and what a beautiful post about Kenny.
You two know how to spend quality time. Really nice pics.

Create a basket filled w/mementos of their wedding: -a "framed" moment that was from their pre/post wedding - something candid -a party favor from their reception -a small vase w/flowers from their special day -a recipe card w/ingredients for a wonderful marriage -a coupon for edible goodies from their favorite store/caterer -a bottle of nice champagne, wine, or their fave beverage -ready-made kettlecorn or dark chocolate for sweetness in marriage's journey -a couple of smooth rock stones for smoothing over edgy times -a ziploc w/a paper towel or sponge to absorb life's spills and keep things fresh -a bag of M&Ms to encourage them to keep things colorful
. . . darlin' I could go on and on, but you get the idea. Oh, and of course, a special card explaining the items you fill the basket with. Though they don't have much time on their anniversary, they can enjoy the basket that you custom-created just for them later on as they redeem the coupons or munch on their M&Ms.
