We had a huge thunderstorm, with lightening and lots of rain Saturday night. Scared all of us when lightening nearly came down the entrance of our house.

My granddaughter and her Steve came for a short visit late Sunday afternoon. They live in Austin and he is a part of the "White Denim" group. If you have young ones, they may know them. They are better known in Europe and the East and West Coast. He told me they were getting a record lable of their own, so maybe soon, even grandma Nena will know them.

But I refuse to listen to much of that kind of music. He leaves again for a tour in Sweden, Norway, Germany, etc. next week.

I am getting my bathroom done today. They are pulling carpet and putting down tile in both the dressing room and toilet area. I am dreading it - and as usual, they are already late. The man that is to do the work, went 30 miles north of me. He got lost even with a GPS. I believe he needs a new one.

My Lucy dog will be crazy all day. :I probably will have to put her no bark collar on her to have a little peace.

Have had a swollen ankle for days, so I think I will go to the doctor and see what is causing it. Also, the top of my scalp has been feeling strange.
