I still think we have some good in our Country, but it is eroding more each year. Tell the Judge there is still a lot of good people out there. But, we must all try harder.

I remember when there was Franklin Delano Roosevelt - He was such a wonderful speaker. Then came dear old Harry, who was full of spit. He was somethings else. Looks like one of my cars. I drove it - with rusted out floor-board - in the back seat, until I was afraid I might leave one of my kids on the freeway. Then hubby bought me another car. Ha!! I put card-b oard under the floor mats to keep the kids in.

Come on now - whose old? I will be 86 in December and still love life and don't mind the white hair and the wrinkles. I decided to just grow old gracefully and it has worked. Evidently I don't look so bad, my husband's friend came courting after my husband passed away. What's funny is that he was my first serious boy friend back when I was about 14 or 15. I liked him as a friend, but nothing else. Anyway, I talked to him on a Thursday and he died the next week-end. Just enjoy life each day and hang in there. Nena
My favorite ice cream is Extreme Moose Tracks - chocolate full of chocolate candy. I could eat the whole thing!!!!, but know it would make me fat. I had two bowls the other day - couldn't resist. I lost 20 pounds because of a condition, so I feel I can "fatten up" a little. NOt the whold 20 lbs, but maybe 2. Ha!!
I like a smooth shaved head. Oh, me!! Can I have the candy? Don't care about the man - just the candy. Nena
It has happened to the "Best" of us. I lost my whole genealogy file once - and I have been working on it for about 15 years. Thank goodness, I had sent a copy to the Mormon library and had only to buy a disk from them.

Have forgotten what you back problems are (I'm 85), but I have spinal stenosis and had a back treatment last week - a shot in the spine and am now feeling better. Hope you stay "better". I agree with you on Obama. He is just tooooo much for me. I will be voting against again this year. Wish we had a better choice than McCain, but he's definitely a better choice. We just don't have any statesmen left anymore. Take care of yourself and hope Chance will soon be through with kemo.

I too, am trying to improve my bedroom. Can't move the bed, only one place for it, under the tall windows. But I am making new Valances for the windows that are better color than the ones I made before. I like to change the colors for the seasons.
Also, know about "renters". We sold our rent house or rather gave it away - but it was good riddance. Didn't know there were such "pigs" out there. One group painted all the bathroom fictures a bright blue. I nearly died. Had to get all that off. Nena
Since I never had a little girl, I would not dare to give advice. Ha!! My three little boys were swatter often - probabably too often, but my cousin told me boys were like mules - you had to hit them in the head with a board occassionally. Ha!! Never did that, but they got their share of swats and spanks. Good luck. Just try lots of love .
