Eduard was a "laugh" of a hurricane, but I am glad. Didn't have to clean up a single leaf off the yard. We got a good steady rain for most of the day, so I cut off the sprinklers for today and probably Friday. The trees and flowers are so happy looking after all of God's watering.
Meeting a friend and maybe two for lunch today. Haven't done that in ages. I should get out more often, but hate to leave sister at home. She doesn't mind, but I do.
Yesterday as almost a lost day - I just rested and did nothing of value, except to fix lunch and that wasn't much. My neighbor had brought frozen soup over. So, I thawed it out and then added Kolahchoes, but they were burned on the bottom and the sausage hadn't thawed out. Did I tell you that I had been cooking for 60 something years? Ha!! I am not a good cook and don't really like to.
Teacherwoman's little lost girl has gotten a lot of news lately. I just wish that awful MOther would tell what happened to her. IF one of my boys had been missing twenty minutes, I would have been out looking for him. And would have been telling the whole neighborhood that I was looking for him. She evidently knows what happened and is just protecting herself.
Take care all you friends, Nena
