Doctor's Visit

Finally got to see a doctor, my Family doctor, who is also a specialist for OLD folks. Can't remember the word right now.

Her nurse called and said for me not to drive myself today as I am having sharp aches in my head. So, baby Son, Bob took me. She did a couple of tests in the office - hearing and some sort of eye test that I never heard of before. She also gave me a prescription for an MRI that I will schedule in a couple of days.

I am freezing to death today - and the house is 70 degrees hot. We usually keep it at 68 or 69. My temperature is 96.6. I always have a low grade fever.

Enough about my ails - I should be ashamed - my sister has fallen four times this week so far - her right leg just gives way, so she just sits down slowly.

The weather is so nice here today. I am going to get in my hottub after lunch and warm up.

See you later friends. Texas Star, I need to hear about your mother.

Hi Nena - I'm glad you went to the doctor and that you are going to get an MRI. Now, please be careful and don't go taking any more of those falls. My prayers continue to be with you, your sister, and with Hazel.

I thank God for your friendship -
Annie :o)

I'm glad that you went to the doctor Nena. I hope they find out what is going on soon.

Nena, Mom is some better. She is stronger physically and they are getting her up to walk some more now. She is still in the hospital (4 weeks now) and still just as confused but she did look better last night. I will keep you posted. She had to have two more units of blood on Sunday. That makes 5 units of blood she has had to have in the past 4 weeks. Her electrolites and other levels have returned to normal and her blood level has returned to normal. So things are looking up as far as that goes but, the confusion is still as bad. We are hoping for her to go to Re-hab soon.
