"Accept what cannot be changed" Part of my daily mantra.
feel better. can't wait to hear and see more about Italy!
S told me about this.
The faith will always be kept. Ack, you made me well up.
Ack this brought a tear to my eye! I don't get why some adults seem to think kids are dumb or something when they talk sh*t in front of them or behave poorly in front of them. Seriously, don't they remember what it was like to be a kid?? Kids are like sponges! Thanks for sharing this eh.
You're right about the Karma thing... and I'm like you in that I really and truly don't wish harm or hateful things on others in my life who may have done just that to me... and yet I'm left to wonder when Karma will bite them in the as$ all while I keep getting sh*t on. It's hard to keep believing in Karma on days/weeks/months/years like this.
You should not have to put up with being disrespected in your own home so don't at all feel bad about that situation. It will only get worse if you let it slide. I hope today works out better for you. ::hugs::
I believe you will find the perfect fit for you by end of year.
Who is that? I KID!
HELL YES YOU ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE!! It may not show up today or tomorrow... hell, you might not ever see the effect you have on some of these kids, but I truly truly truly believe YOU ARE MAKING AN IMPACT! And that boy you speak of? I think he's going to make it and I think he's going to be OK because he's aware of his surroundings and he's at least THINKING of the future! Right now, he can't think about being able to change because his family is his everything, but in 10 years when he's old enough to be on his own, he will be able to break free from them and be the best he can be... and I bet he thinks back about the conversations he's had with you.
Part of my daily mantra.
