Is he all "felt"? If so, yeah, I bet he was handmade.
He does have a cute shape but based on those mildew stains, he's probably not worth anything. Throw him in the was with some Borax and another non-bleach whitening detergent and see if he comes out clean. If he doesn't, toss him. If he gets trashed in the wash, oh well, he isn't any good anyway. He shouldn't get trashed in the wash though if you wash him buy himself with the water level set at high, and you might be able to use the gentle cycle though I don't know if that will get those stains out. Good luck whatever you decide to do!

He could well have been handmade. Someone must have saved him for sentimental reasons.
Eeeewwww! Is that mildew?
Based on the hands and feet, it doesn't look as old as the Mickey Mouse and Porky ones. Good luck in your research.
