Critters in the Attic

Does anybody know how to get them out? I think it might be raccoons! It started a few days ago. Sounds like a circus going on up there! I think they got in from the garage, which is piled pretty high. I knew I needed to address that issue... but it's hard to know which issues to deal with first around here!

My husband owns a very special alarm clock called "The Screaming Meanie". Not sure if it's here or at the other house. I was going to look for it today. The sound is truly unbearable, at least to humans. Perhaps it will have the same effect on critters. If I place it where THEY are trying to sleep, do you think it will drive them away?

Needless to say, my daughter and I have been quite sleep deprived. Between that and some very sad events going on with some of my loved ones, I'm struggling a bit emotionally. I can't afford to be 'de-railed', so I'm still pushing along. What choice do I have?

Today, some ladies from the church are going to come to see me. I'm ambivalent about that. Before they come I will be in a quandary about which eye-sores I should attempt to eliminate before their arrival. I can't eliminate them all. I know that when they're here I will be thinking about the stains in the carpet, wondering if the house smells, praying that nobody needs to use the rest room...

I'm having house nightmares. I'm so ready to be done! I want the critters to move on! I want all the crap to move on! I, personally, want to be able to move on! I feel like I deserve to have my life be about something else!

Not to scare you, but my sister had raccoons in her attic, and they eventually fell through the ceiling into her dining room!! Somebody removed them, but I don't remember who. They gotta go. Ask the church ladies to take them away!

I was thinking that by the sound of them, that actually could happen here! I agree, they gotta go! I actually enjoyed my visit with the church ladies! It was better than expected.

If you have a good Vet. store near you, you can buy fox urine. That will
chase them out. I have been wanting to get some to put in the pecan trees
to frighten the squirrels. Don't stress, just keep on doing the best that
you can.

Thanks! I will look for that! I'm willing to try whatever it takes!

Raccoons can be quite destructive. There are services who remove the animals and relocate them to the woods or some other remote location.

I've been looking into that too. Sigh. One more thing!
