The Results Are In

Well the results came in a few minutes ago, and despite all of your support, I didn't win a seat. In fact, I came in DEAD LAST out of all eight candidates. You can check out the detailed results if you would like.

The funny thing is that it is a disappointment, but it also means I don't have to resign from my boards so there is a bright side. I didn't really lose anything (other than the election) because I still get to continue doing exactly what I was doing before the campaign. I did throw away some good money on this, though.

Oh, well! I did want to tell you all how much I really appreciate all of your support during the campaign.

Sorry to hear this, AJ...I think you would have been perfect for the job. It was your first time around, though, and that is always a factor, plus the fact that there were so many in the running. Don't give up, my friend, because you have so much to offer and the ability to do deliver. (Look at how many elected officials failed their first time around... and, from the look of things, you really didn't do all that bad in the numbers.)

dang, A.J. sorry to hear that. you would've been the best. looks like both our political fortunes took a downturn this time. But we're not done yet. Next time you and I will both be sucessfull, I just know it.

Martin is right,it is their loss.
Since this is your first time,not problems.
Second time will be much better.
Once they get to know you better.
So,do not give up.
Remember that song from "Cabaret"Liza sang.
Maybe the next time I'll win.
You did a great job there.Do not mark this as a loss.
Have learned from this.
Why did you lose?
Maybe you need to check out on your running and speeches comparison on
the others.
