I can't help but wonder if some of the backlash is the anti-monarchy attitudes we have in this country. She is from a dynasty, like the Adamses, the Clintons, and the Bushes and there always seems to be a negative feeling around that possibility. The Kennedys have an even higher feeling of a dynasty because so many of them have been involved in politics: John, Robert, Teddy, Patrick, Robert Jr, Arnold Schwarzenegger, etc. I really wish more of the positive and negative discussion was tied to her abilities. That is the way she should be judged. AJ
Suicide is always tragic for all of the opportunities lost. The holiday season always brings a higher level of sadness and depression. AJ
This is so sad. She had a rocking voice and so much talent. I am most familiar with her work as Catwoman on the Batman TV show of the late 1960s. "Santa Baby" will never really sound the same, now. AJ

I was really a late bloomer when the reality of Santa was realized. In fact, I had to be told so I could help keep it up for my brother after my single mom took ill. I think it was because I really wanted to believe. Now, I know that all the good cheer and giving comes from within each one of us. AJ
