The books are WAAAAAY better. I have 4 copies of each (this movie is based on the first), and they aren't enough to meet demand. I liked them about as much as I liked the Harry Potter books. AJ
I would have been really surprised if you were familiar with the show. It was a teeny-bopper program in the early 1990's. He has also been on some celebrty (D-List) reality shows in recent years. AJ
