I ordered my lawn signs today for the campaign. Since I don't have to suffer through a primary, I thought it seemed like a waste of time to rush and get the signs. The longer people can see the signs on the lawn, the less of an effect they have on people because people stop noticing them after they have seen them enough times.
Overall, they were actually pretty affordable. They guy who is making them up for me is only charging $8 a sign, and that includes the stakes to stick them in the ground. That is a really good bargain. I called aroudn different places for estimates, and the closes price I coudl find was for $10 for the signs and stakes. One place wanted to charge me more than $520 for 30 signs!!!!
So, I dropped off the payment today, and the signs are supposed to be ready in a couple of days. Of course, I have no clue when I am going to be able to go pick them up since I am working until 6pm each night this week and I have a s long as it doesn't take too long, I could probably stop in to pick up the signs and go right there from work on on to the meeting that night.
I will try and take a picture of one of the signs so you can see what they look like when they are done.
