Just think, you could be drinking your coffee on the terrace in NY City and listening to the traffic instead of the birds.

Jaxy sounds like a wonderful friend. Like snowflakes, every cat is different. Eventually they leave us, and it's very sad because we'll miss those funny things that only that one cat ever did, but the next cat will have funny habits of its own.

I'll track it down and watch it. I think that is a good point about the shunning, seems they are saying they should forgive sinners who don't know better than to sin, but their own people should know better and suffer the consequences.

So that's what it's called, ambush marketing. Here is the USA that sort of stunt is so common we hardly notice it.

This took me right back to those days when those songs were on the radio and I wished I didn't have naturally curly hair.

Great story, Kevin. I went through this exact scenario with this visitor cat here (which is leaving today) except there is no parrot or cab driver, and no party to go to.

I love your posts, so looking forward to hearing more from you, dear Bugg. Facebook's request for the password to our regular email accounts so it could 'help you locate your friends' was a big red flag. They claim they don't store the password, but why would we believe that?

It sounds really interesting, and seems to take the attitude (based on the sub-title 'surprising talents') of celebrating the good things about being an adult rather than bemoaning what we've lost through aging.

I wonder how special this comes out. Good, but maybe not eye-rolling, gushing special like Paula lets on. Gooey cake is probably more exciting.

I just worry about someday I'll get sick and won't be able to keep up with it. Maybe I'll be so out of it I won't care. What about a camping trip? Nah. Not likely I'm going camping any time soon.

A great uncle of mine collected clocks, had over 200 of them when he died, all kinds. He kept them wound, and I remember how noisy it was at his house when they all chimed at the same time, plus all that tick-tock.

Great pictures. I was going to say the penguin is my favorite, but I like them all.

It sounds like a horrible idea to me. I wonder how long it is going to last, but I'm sure the education system in Colorado is going to get a lot worse before it recovers from this.

I've found from bitter experience that life is not like the movies or TV and what seems right, and just and fair doesn't always happen. There's usually more to the story than meets the eye.
