So it is true that owners and their pets start to look alike! Youns are so cute together. You even have some of each other's color fur on your faces.

Hobster, I thought that poem might be haiku but I guess not which is maybe why you called it Zen Boo. It is a fine poem, and I much approve of Rosie's poem too.

You have a valuable trait my family calls "stick-to-it-ive-ness." The door is beautiful, and the view looks like the view out MY back door.

Me mum took a watercolor class at pennstate once. They said the teacher was a well known watercolorist. As the students sat before their huge piece of white paper, teacher said "today's assignment ... EXPRESS yourself". Cool! Me mum painted a tiny bunch of grapes in the center of the page. She thought it quite pretty. He holds it up in front of the class and said no no NO NO NOOOO! This is NOT what I want, I said EXPRESS yourself! And he took the brush and did some wide swaths of color on the rest of the paper to show HE expresses himself. Me mum said, if you wanted wide swaths of color, why didn't you say so? I coulda done that. I thought you wanted us to express ourSELVES! You have a better way with words than did he!

Those photos belong in an art show, they are so beautiful. See if you can get a similar shot with an orange Ford Fiesta in it.

You must have a green thumb and time and patience to do all that beautiful gardening AND take pics of it. Thanks for sharing! You may have motivated my mom to grow some lettuce in a planter, too.

Hoooo boy, I (and me mum too) would like to be rescued by one of these firefighters too! I'm enjoying reading about Molly. Mom always threatens to get me a pal, a bulldog, boston terrier, or a pug. But there is so much time and money goes into a dog she is scared to take that plunge. I tell her it's best just to live vicariously thru gwensgifts and catdancer and now YOU. Maybe a dog will be her treat to herself when (if) she retires.

That's my neck of the woods too. Chevy Chase (and the entire area this time of year) is beautiful. You can walk from Friendship Heights choo choo to most of Chubby Chase if you have time on your hands. Driving anywhere in the region can be annoying. Such impatience! Please have a safe trip!
