Been away again, this time to the Flinders ranges and a town named Quorn home of the Pichi Richi
railway preservation society, also a lot of movies were made there in the 1950s 60s .
Met up with a few friends in the local pub that I hadn't seen since 1975, very near having a beer to many with them as well , only came home today to see the doc about a cyst on my eye lid , made the appointment earlier , he will remove it on the 16th June as he's taking a holiday.
Also seeing my own doc tomorrow about my blood pressure and am waiting now to see a vascular surgeon about the blocked veins on both sides of my neck hopefully next month, no more dizzy spells and am walking ok without my walker in most places.
Late autumn rains happening all over which will make the Cockies (slang for farmers) happy for those who have already seeded, the tractors were working hard along the roads on our way home, getting cold now and the days have shortens daylight at 7am- dark at 6pm so home for winter-and get all this medical business out the way and get ready for spring.
