Today was the day to go up to nieces place who lives at Moonta 150 km away, at last getting out of the house , when I got up the sun was shining , haven't seen much of the sun these last few weeks and it was a welcome sight , Cath after locking the door realised she had left something behind and had to go inside again , I went on to open the gates and start the car , we left just after 9am, Cath had to go to the bank first to show a receipt she had from them showing a payment she had made for ebay that had not been received and to prove she had paid it.
Going along she told me to turn around and go back she had left her purse on the back table after she had locked the door , by the time we eventually got going it was 10 am , good road and light traffic we arrived after one stop at 11.45 it was still a good day but getting cloudy .
We went for lunch at a golf course diner, Greg Norman had designed the the place and the company had gone into receivership not long ago , it was taken over by the local council for 1 million dollars , so someone lost a lot of money .
Had the worst meal that I can remember certainly wont go there again , went back to nieces place where Cath fitted the croquette baby seat blanket she had made on to the seat pulled the straps through, doubled the blanket over and it fits perfect , so now bubs can be kept warm when Nephew s new baby goes out in car .
When we left it started to drizzle, which then turned into heavy rain so coming home I was down to 85kms, 4pm had to use headlights for safety as the sky was black with cloud , rained all the way ome, those trucks and cars that pass with speed making it worse with the spray blowing on to windscreen so you cant see at all until they are well past , was glad to get home
Just had to try for pictue
up and ready to go. I do that a lot.
