its illegal here to swerve to miss an animal ---------yeah as if
years back i was waiting at a roundabout intersection during rush hour , a policeman was directing traffic , i was first car to go across when directed through. next thing i knew was a thump on my door --the policeman saying to me --if i didn't mind could i please move -- he had stopped all other traffic and walked over to me

am reading at present a book by W MICHAEL GEAR AND KATHLEEN GEAR- People of the moon ---series about the early american indians ---he is an archaeologist ---good reading

that was a great set up . the people wanted a quick dollar = something for nothing get them all in fast

the name rang a bell then the movie --yes that's where i saw it , --reckon they were wrong in taking his medals away ---

great to get down to the beach in summer ----gotta be early morning or late afternoon though ---definitely not during the hot part of day ----your looking fit and trim --put me to shame with my pot belly (good food not booze )

ruddy hell that was some exercise----Head of school in small town here got sacked for trying to stop behavior at her school, some parents complained when a bit of old time discipline was used.

He has gone real queer ----just to big for his britches

bloody hell ====up a that ungodly hour ==daylight this time of year around 7am sun up 7.30 i sneak out for the usual widdle piddle and switch the heater on =-then dive back into bed till its war.
Have family strife here, eldest dughter 50 next month has been a pain in the butt for years , more so since cath and i have been married, 14 years now , she has 2 daughters that refuse to acknowledge this, the youngest 20 year old started swearing at cath when i mentioned it to her mother she just said so what do you expect me to do,,
i wrote and told her i wish no more contact ----PEACE AT LAST

it does one the world of good to have a good rant now and again----keeps the blood pressure down

its not only animals ---some idiotic parents leave kids in cars as well , one or 2 have died through stupidity ,others have been seen in time and rescued.

BLOODY HELL FREDO----you take the cake

feral cats here are a prescribed pest . a lot of our wildlife even the Tamar wallabies are being killed by feral cats , once they erected a dingo (dog ) fence to protect sheep , now conservationists are erecting fences to keep cats out of reintroducing wildlife areas.
Australia --no cats of any kind were here until they were introduced like the foxes and rabbits
