Now I have all the paintings ready for this weekend's art show at the Antique Auto Show in Tiffin (Hedges-Boyer Park, 3 pm to 8 pm Saturday.)

The frame on this one was listed at $79.95 and I got it for $24.95! It is magnificent and has gold leaf.

Yesterday in Findlay I scored a 24 x 20 wide frame for $3.00 and two small frames for fifty cents each at Goodwill. The large frame is perfect and has a finished painting of a wooden frigate sailing ship in it. Does anyone want the painting? - I keep the frame, of course - I usually paint white gesso over the old paintings and re-use the canvas but this ship painting is pretty good.

I always like pictures of vineyards... makes me want to go winetasting. I especially love the vineyards down around San Luis Obispo and the beautiful scenic views. Amazing, your painting now has me in the mood to make a trip south.

I like to get 'lost' in a painting, make myself believe that I am there. This painting does that aswell as creating it's own atmosphere. I love it.

I am going to produce a CD of my artworks for use as screen wallpaper on computers. That way, some of you who mentioned that you can't afford one of the originals could have your very own Adams paintings right in front of you, with the ability to change them at will!

If you would be interested, let me know. I have not figured the price yet, so be patient with me.

I have about forty unfilled frames of all sizes. Yet I still look for them. I find them at yard sales and second-hand stores. Sometimes Hobby Lobby has cheap closeouts, too. The frame on this painting was one of those, marked down to near 25 bucks from 80. I couldn't pass it up at that price when I saw the gold leaf. It has 30 bucks worth of gold on it!

The summer was productive. Like I've already said, I work on many paintings at the same time, finishing them at intervals. It is my style to switch back and forth from working on one to another.

So now I'm putting the paint away for a while and getting back to design work, writing, cleaning and getting ready to make and can my annual pasta and chili sauces.

Wow...your a fast painter..didn't you just finish one the other day? We have a goodwill store here, next time I'm in town I'll go look and see if they have any frames. How is Bunjii doing? Is he getting better?
