(Writed by Hobbes) Eberyone in the Helter Skelter Cat Shelter here seems fine and dandy. Rinny Rinpoche has been to the dokter place a few times, tho. He first got a UTI, whitch means a urinary tractor infektshun. They treated him and my daDDy he had to shoot medicine into Rinny's huge mouf ebery day for a while. But my daDDy he decided to help by changing sum things. So then all the cat water bowls now get distilled water. He also uses that in his coffee machine thingy. Tap water has salts and minerals, which cause the crystals that cause the uti. Smart man? Nah. He heard it frum a good friend. It seems to help. It's about a dollar a day, whitch is tons cheeper than a three hunderd dollar V.E.T. bill.

Then Rinny he couldn't poop. That happened about a month ago. So my daDDy he took Rinny to the dokter place and she felt Rinny's tummy and back and goosed him and Rinny he wuz blocked. So he had to leave Rinny there over nite. They gived Rinny some enemas and stuff and he pooped all over the place. When my daDDy paid them the three hunderd dollars and took Rinny home wif tons of new medicines he had to warsh Rinny's bum. He stinked to high hevven! He warshed him five days in a row! My daDDy wouldn't let him on his lap and kept Rinny away from his legs cuz Rinny he likes to "mark" you wif his tail end. Finally, Rinny he began to lick himself and clean up. Trimming his furs helped but Rinny he is a shaggy fellow and that wuz hard to do.

Now Rinny he gets MiraLax and anuther spensive thing twice a day. We cut down the dosages. My daDDy he mixes it wif chikin broth and shoots it in Rinny's mouth. He seems to like the taste. Meanwhile, he is doin OK in the litter boxes.

Eberybody else seems fine. My daDDy he been shoppin and sneaking kitty toyz into the off-limits baffroom for Crispmouse pressies. The little tree is dry. The decorashun is purty and the newby, Lady Marmalade, luvs it.
