Casserole on the Fly ...
Casserole on the Fly for dinner. It is in the oven now, 350F. Boiled a couple cups of Penne Rigate, drained, dumped in a bowl. Fried two burger patties and crumbled. Dumped in the bowl. Put about 2/3 of a quart of my balsamic marinara sauce from last year's canning in the bowl. Three tablespoons generous of Pesto sauce. Slivered about twenty pieces of pepperoni, into the bowl. Chopped 1/3 of a brown onion into the bowl. Stirred bowl contents together. Added some generous amounts of pizza cheese (shredded), Swiss cheese (shredded), and shredded Parmesan. Stirred. Dumped in deep casserole dish. (Spray the dish with canola or olive oil non-sticker stuff.) Added more shredded Parmesan on top. Popped in the oven uncovered fifteen minutes, then cover until it smells like it is done. Make a couple slices of garlic bread to go with it. Ten minutes work.
