Teal Problems ...

Teal called me just a few ago. She and Ed are having a connection problem where they can't get on MyBloggers- her computer or Ed's.

She talked to her computer tech and they couldn't help her, and I suggested she call her ISP (Dish Network) and see if it is their connection.

She asked me to tell everyone.

Teal just called today again and said her ISP can't figure it out but that the MyBloggers servers may have her IP number(s) blocked for some reason. Sometimes if their proprietary software thinks it detects a virus in an IP number's computer or site, it will automatically block access. She needs to get hold of the MyBloggers webmaster (who I believe is still Eddie?) and try to solve it directly. Can you or anyone get contact with Ed? I can get her phone number to whoever can get hold of Ed.

hi fredo, no, I started with Firefox troubleshooting, went on to Hewlett-Packard, then to my IP company. It was a MyBloggers server refusal to recognize me. Whoa.

Eddie fixed it once I got my IP address to him.

We think there is some setting at the MyBloggers end that blocks certain IP addresses, apparently randomly. But it is never good policy to call the blog administrator names.

My problem was a problem from mybloggers and once it was fixed I was good to go.
If that helps any. My son is a computer geek and he said he had never seen
anything like it.
