I need a drink early today because...
1. My back yard is growing leaves.
2. I just checked my checking account balance and had to drive to the bank with twenty dollars in cash, quick!
3. The mail was all bills and election stuffers.
4. I ran out of coffee filters.
5. The laundry baskets are overflowing again.
6. I get almost nothing but 800-number telephone calls. (which I never, ever pick-up!)
7. Mariah turned me down for a lunch date.
8. Gasoline is ten cents lower today than it was Saturday when I bought gas.
9. It was 33 degrees F last night and is not going over 51 today.
and
10. There are still two weeks and one day until this election takes place.
Did you see the photos of Fredo's yard???? Talk about leaves! Good beer always goes with yard work!!!!
