Sophie is beautiful! Use those tomatoes to make your own canned pasta sauce and chili. It doesn't save much money but it is fun, you can give it to friends and it always tastes better than store-bought. They have just never learned how to make good tasting sauces!

I thought they stopped serving meals on planes. Now that they charge for bags and carry-ons, and just about everything else, I wonder how long before we get charged a TSA "search fee."
I used to sit so far in back that by the time the cart got back to my seat they simply snatched my food right away and said "Get ready for landing."
Even if the remainder of this year's temperatures are exactly at the norms, 2012 is already going in the books as the warmest/hottest global year on record. Our 'summer' began March 27th. Every day since had a high of at least 61F. April was the warmest ever here. May was the second hottest on record here. June will probably break our temperature records, too. The last four days have all been in the high 90's (and four more the week before this one!). This is very unusual here.
