I want to serve the Senators a special kind of Kool-Aid.
My Tribe got their first night off of the 2013 season, so they didn't get to wear the jerseys with his retired number. Note that EVERY team in the MLB has retired number 42. The second black player in the leagues was the Cleveland Indians' Larry Doby, same 1947 season. Doby was the first player to go directly to the majors from the Negro leagues. A seven–time consecutive All-Star center fielder, Doby and teammate Satchel Paige were the first African-American players to win a World Series championship when the Indians won in 1948. He was also the first black player to hit a home run in the World Series and All-Star Game. He helped the Indians win a franchise-record 111 wins and AL pennant in 1954 and finished second in the AL Most Valuable Player (MVP) award voting as he was the season's RBI leader and home run champion for the second time in three seasons. In 1978 he became the second African-American manager in the majors when he joined the Chicago White Sox.
Ramp it up.

I'm thinking of changing the name of our house from THE HELTER SKELTER CAT SHELTER to NO CAT LEFT BEHIND.
With ten felines I have no fear of indoor fly infestations. On the porch, try one of Gustav Mahler's dirges.
Do your stretching exercises first. I didn't and I am wondering how many of my ribs have separated.
Eh? Nice trip. Rain and Vancouver are synonymous, but it was always one of my favorite places, that and Victoria.
