Sparky is being flushed as well as they can, still on a catheter and an IV. His kidney tests were off the scale. The BUN number was 12, way above the 1.5-2.5 level normal. The Creatinine number is 100-plus. Normal is a tenth of that. They are going to keep treating him this way and giving him a pain reliever while they keep flushing. Tomorrow we will know if his kidneys are going to respond. It doesn't sound good but the vet mentioned that in cats so young they sometimes respond. I am gutted.
I was brought up to question ALL authority. I still do, especially when authority is secretly applied via "secret" courts (TOTALLY UNCONSTITUTIONAL!!!) to smother my constitutional liberties. Gentlemen should not read other gentlemen's mail. I praise the leakers and the whistle blowers. They are the TRUE American heroes.
Start composting. You will have lots of soil in a short time. I had a huge compost operation in Long Beach. It is cheaper than buying soil and you get to do some true recycling. Just don't compost fats, oils or any meat products. All vegetable matter, coffee grounds, etc. NO kitty litter, either. Great-looking raised bed kit!
In Long Beach we lived at 3608 Faust Avenue. I often thought of the devil and Goethe when I lived there. LOL
We love to pronounce it the French way: "Tar-zhay..." LOL
The worse place, other than standing out in your driveway, is to be in a vehicle when the twister hits.
Good. We are always worried about Jeri and the OK friends.
I never go anywhere without a bag of Fancy Feast. That might bribe one of them off me.
You, Bob Davis and me. Ahhhh. Last night I enjoyed one with a snifter of Springbank single malt and all the Universe slowed down.
The 'Ranking Member,' otherwise known as Satchel, reminds you that his photo has NOT been exhibited for a very long time. Get with it, Hobbes!
