Marmalades entry: A couple weeks ago I sat out front on my porch reading the Sunday paper. It was still relatively warm here. This little calico cat came from the back yard walking on my side of the house and plopped down into a back scratch roll soon as she saw me a few yards away. She mewed and I asked her to come up on the porch to see me. She went up front and quickly appeared on the porch. I coaxed her to me. She rubbed my leg. I patted my lap and up she came. After a few minutes of petting, checking for flea poo, and scratching her clean ears, I decided to save the cat from the eventual automobile tire death that is so common in my neighborhood. I took her in to meet the family.
Since someone said she was sent to us by Rosie Rosebud, who passed away June 9, I will make June 9 her birthday.
When I visit people in hospitals I always get real food at Taco Bell, Wendy's or Arby's to take to them. It is appreciated.
He is avery smart cat. If I say to him, "Quincy go upstairs and see who is having that cat fight." He will go up the stairs.
Sad.
Plenty of water flow. Have you heard from Bucky Beaver?
There is a huge drop in grain prices because this year will be a big big bumper crop. That adds to the increase in cattle. Maybe? Hope.
Hopefully the falling fuel prices will result in more cattle and pigs and a glut of meat products. But don't hold your breath.
When I was about to have my gall bladder surgery the nurses pulled a pair of those very tight stretch stockings on my feet and legs, the ones that are supposed to help avoid blood clots during the procedure. Afterward, groggy as I resumed consciousness, I asked if I could keep them because they would go great with my cowboy boots. They laughed so hard it really brought me back to a clear mind. I don't recall asking them if I could keep the socks, but my uncle was there and he never lets me forget it.
Taking photos up in the studio is subject to happenstance. The flash is the reflection of one of the hot lamps.
I think the percentage of abusive behavior among NFL players (all all pro sports) is probably the same as among the general population. There is no excuse for it, though. Society must clamp down on it, it all its venues. Punishment must be harsh. If it means ending careers, so be it.
