Sesame a.k.a. "Sessie," came to our house in late Spring three years ago. Three weeks later she had four kittens in the studio room! She is a tan and brown Siamese. Two of her grown boys are with her in the painting - Choccie Le Chat and Cocoa Le Chat, identical black "house panthers." Sun puddles are sun spots on a floor. They are cat magnets. This was in our living room. I began this painting over a year ago, put it aside and finally started work on it again a couple weeks ago. The border just inside the black frame is a blue watery strip with painted tiny fish, ideal for a painting of cats.
